A contemporary hand-built vase with a handle that works great as a decorative item or can carry beautifully a single flower.

It was made of black stoneware clay and dipped in matte turquoise glaze upon which it was fired to cone 8 (1250C) in an electric kiln. The base was left unglazed and is impressed with my maker's mark.
